Moonlight's refund policy for sessions

Our refund policy

We make every effort to ensure fulfilling, glitch-free tarot sessions between clients and professionals. However, we recognize disappointing situations occasionally arise.


Refunds are available if:

  • Your host is a no-show and unresponsive to rescheduling attempts (please see our no-show guide).
  • You cancel a session in no less than 24 hours notice.
  • You have a personal emergency arise before the session starts and are unable to reschedule.
  • Your host violates Moonlight’s community guidelines.
  • There’s technical issues on Moonlight’s end that prevent access to a session.

If the session cannot be completed because your internet is down, or there’s technical issues on your end, we encourage attempting to reschedule if it's feasible for the host and there is sufficient notice. But we cannot guarantee hosts can accommodate. Your host should receive full payment if they showed up on time ready to conduct session.

We recommend checking your tech in advance of the session by entering a tarot room and emailing us if you experience any issues.


Refunds are typically NOT issued if:

  • You’re late to a booked session without attempting to contact host regarding lateness or rescheduling. We honor the host's time that was reserved for you.
  • You change your mind right before the session. You can only cancel 24 hours in advance.
  • A session ends because you violate the Community Guidelines.
  • You expect or demand factual predictions or other tarot styles that aren’t on Moonlight (again, see Community Guidelines).
  • You’re not fully satisfied with the tarot session itself or feel like you didn't resonate with the host’s style. Compatibility is subjective, not a quality issue.

We're committed to smooth experiences for both clients and hosts! We review each refund request individually and reserve the right to make case-by-case judgements. We may ask for additional context.
